This isn't a tour of the Fusion interface. Every session is built around how you'll actually use it on a real project — no filler, no theory dumps.

Sunday - Afternoon
Fusion Foundations
The node graph. How to read it, build it, and understand why it works differently from the Edit page. You'll build your first composite from scratch and finally understand the logic behind node-based compositing. By the end of this session, Fusion stops looking like a foreign language.

Sunday - Evening
Motion Graphics
Text animation, shape layers, and motion design principles inside Fusion. You'll build graphic sequences from scratch — not just drop templates into a timeline. By the end of this session you'll know how to create animated lower thirds, title sequences, and branded motion graphics that look intentional and professional.

Sunday - Afternoon
Compositing
Keying, masking, motion tracking, and layering effects into live footage. This is where Fusion becomes your VFX engine — green screen work, tracked graphics attached to moving shots, and multi-layer composites. You'll finish by integrating your compositing work back into your DaVinci Resolve timeline with a clean, repeatable output process.

No prior Fusion experience needed — but you should already be comfortable in the DaVinci Resolve Edit page. This is not a beginner Resolve class. If you've never used Resolve before, start with the Editing Workshop first.
A laptop or desktop with DaVinci Resolve installed (the free version is fine), and a stable internet connection for Zoom. We'll send a full prep checklist after registration.
Yes. Recordings are sent to all registered participants within 24 hours of each session, so you can review everything at your own pace.
The Editing Workshop covers Resolve's editing, color grading, and delivery workflow. The Fusion Class specifically covers compositing and motion graphics using Resolve's built-in Fusion engine. They're designed to complement each other — which is why we offer a discounted bundle rate for both.
